Pune Blast
The central government has to begin the knock out round.
If we are to stay as one country,then there cannot be any person in this country who pretends that he is bigger or different than the others.
no one should perform the act that he is some thing special as he is openly anti-minority.
being openly anti-minority is the badge of honour that narendra modi,pravin togadia and pramod muthalik wear.
since being openly anti-minority should come out as heroic,they have to also spread the impression that our ancestors did not know how to react when faced with outsiders.that our ancestors knew better than these anti-minority actors is evident to the majority who have no time for these anti-minority actors.

hence,they have been quick to make themselves present and have tried to raise the pitch and divert.

taliban
this group has no idea how life in india is dynamic and decent,for the minorities and everyone else.
how there is always chance for betterment,if one works hard.
how there is a quest to know others and find out their cultures, respect for every other person from every other community ie those that are not seen as rivals.
those who are rivals will still not be encumbered in any way other than the occasional skirmish.
if the establishment sides with one of the participants in the skirmish,there is enough organisation among any community to counter it in ways that are the best.
there is always compromise at the end,even after an inglorious incident.where the actions which begot the incident are analysed and dissected before pronouncing justice and reconciliation.
that is how the people live,always working and relaxing,in harmony and comradeship.
there is always the chance available to engage in politics,to badmouth some leader and to enforce one s will.
there is no need for the indian people to lose their senses,like the taliban,and waste their lives in always fighting,without purpose and without any sense of any goal.if a particular community feels that its way of life is more suited for the entire population,that community has the chance to spread the word or even float a political party.
that will not allow that community,any indian community,to lose its bearings,its dignity and go into free fall,to forget the joy of work and achievement,to forget the simple pleasures of life.
all under the forgetful impression of waging a war on behalf of god.
in the old days,the ultimate test for a king would have been to ensure justice for the minorities.
in these times,there are people who,though being in a majority,do not feel empowered enough,and want to ensure a totality.

the first thing that struck me on seeing varun the gandhi explain things today was that he had spent some quality time with swapan dasgupta.
the rabidity quotient was a clue to the meeting and the mentoring of minds.

the rulers in their battles and wars needed religion to gain the upper hand in their martial campaigns.
the religion and the god of a ruler was used to instill fear and awe in the opposition.
once the other side received a thinking and a religion which gave it a sense of purpose and a self confidence,it began fighting with new vigour.
it now had the tool to negate the influence of the opposition due to its gods.
a few rulers tried to impose taxes on the hindus to prod the people towards religions which they practiced whereas others would have used more violent methods to suppress religions which had gained strength from the patronage of the earlier ruler.

Abnormal Situation
An abnormal situation has existed in the country for more than a decade now as we have one political party,the bjp, never ever behaving normally.
The heart and the core of the bjps existence is based on the spreading of falsehood and misinformation.
this core fact has to be recognized immediately and confronted by the nation if we are to proceed on the way ahead.
the elected government will deal with the situation as it sees fit.
the bjps followers are always involved in identifying someone or the other as anti national and always attributing sinister motives to the government.
they are always spreading propaganda about how this person is a christian and therefore involved with the vatican,how that person is involved with an islamic conspiracy,how the dravidian movement is anti hindu etc.
it is not a normal existence.
the bjp s politics is not a normal politics.
if we are to continue as a country in the present form and under the present constitution,the bjp has to be exorcised or to use a milder term,reformed.

VP SINGH and lk advani
Vishwananth Pratap Singh was prime minister from december 2 1989 till november 10 1990 when his government fell because the bharatiya janata party withdrew support over the arrest of lk advani in bihar while on his rath yatra.
it is not a coincidence that VP Singh died on the day when the final act of the episode in our history which began with the rath yatra of lk advani was being enacted.
the rath yatra of lk advani imprisoned sections of the population within a misinformation and misinterpretation of history,wherein sections of the hindus and the muslims were led to believe that the so called hindus did not deal with situations as they saw fit during the medieval era.
this imprisonment saw sections of the hindus reduced to frustration and sections of the muslims losing their grip on reality.

bombs and mobs
one group of people plants bombs in public places and watches as mayhem is perpetrated.
another group of people move around in large numbers and pick members of the minority and their institutions and attack them.This group does not feel the need to be discreet as it is having the numbers on its side.
both of these groups have become emboldened and pro active.
the first group is condemned by all the communities but the second group is seen as fighting for their faith and is directly linked to a political party.this political party is reducing the so called hindus to bumbling buffoons who get all self indulgent and self righteous and go out and attack defenseless people and then proceed to feel heroic.
a decent and civilised approach of a majority community which is feeling aggrieved at being vilified would have been to visit the place where the vilification is going on and present evidence to the police.
that will be the actions of a confident and civilised community.
instead,what we have here is a community which has developed complexes about the taliban and wants to emulate them.
the results and the evidence of the spreading of this disease to sections of educated youth can be seen in the comments section of this page.

When the topic is around the actions and the misdemeanours of the elected
representatives of the people,swapan dasgupta raises the issue that godhra must
be condemned.
By his words,he is equating the alleged criminal acts of a mob and the inefficiency and danger of a biased government.
Someone who commits a murder is a criminal whereas a person at the helm of government is not understood to be one.
Someone who attacks a place of worship or places a bomb in a public place is the worst kind of criminal whereas the chief minister of the state where these acts occur is supposed to nab these criminals and ensure that there is law and order.
the chief minister is supposed to ensure that criminal elements do not
motivate the people to hate each other and get them to kill each other.everybody in society wants the criminals to be punished according to the law.when swapan dasgupta says that we have to condemn the criminals ,what he is trying to impute is that the criminals are not being looked at as criminals.a criminal is a criminal and society realises and understands that criminals have to be punished.what society is worried about is that there should not be any miscarriage of

the attack on the train and the loss of lives was used by narendra modi to allow a riot which resulted in a consolidation of a vote bank and subsequent electoral victories.
the rulers of our past ,right from the hallowed rama were typified by an adherence to justice.
That was the mindset which resulted in the pandian king dying after realising the injustice meted to kovalan.
our rulers were not despots,they ruled over a civilised and organised economy.the military component was a part of the government which was efficiently maintained.the constant wars did not mean that the nature of governance was eroded.
narendra modi allowed innocent people to be massacred by mobs.
he is now behaving like a messiah,the shame descends on our strong traditions of civilised existence.
The justification provided by the fanatic fringe was that the muslims started it.
This fanatic fringe which has infiltrated into the mainstream must also provide the reasons for the mob attacking the train,whether it was a well planned attack on pious hindu pilgrims,instigated from across the border with an intention to invite a riot upon themselves.
This will be countered by the fringe that the hindus were not expected to fight back and it was a strong narendra modi who offered them a chance to assert themselves.
This line of thinking was built up by getting the hindus to forget their history and getting them to believe that they were not capable of organising resistance.Some civilisations would have not been able to withstand repeated invasions from a neighbour who was intent on pillaging the riches.

The people in power should be totally neutral in their dealings with the population.
If the rulers are disposed towards a section or sections,reactions are created.
The reactions can erupt immediately or over a long time.
The tilt towards some section and any concomitant negative treatment towards other sections could be due to a desire to redress some perceived or real imbalance.
The VHP can be assumed to consist of three section of hindus,
one wanting to strengthen hinduism as a result of a deep conviction that it is
the best way for humanity,after having undertaken a thorough study.
one which is not at ease with the spread of islam and christianity,as it is
unable to view the upliftment and the assertions of previously stymied classes
with an open mind.
and another which harbours hatred for islam and christianity,either as a result
of clashing of economic interests or due to a feeling of animosity arising from
history.
if the first section actually exists within the VHP,it would have its hands full
in reaching out to the vast population that has been classified as hindu.It would have been at the scene of crimes against the dalits in maharashtra and haryana in the recent past and in Tamilnadu where episodes of dispute between castes have occurred;it was the communist parties who intervened in tamilnadu.
The second section could consist of people who want a preservation of the status
quo in the social order .This section would have been uncomfortable with the
dynamics of the social upliftment of the stymied classes.
The youth who are to be spotted online denigrating islam and advocating hatred
could belong to the second or the third sections.
The BJP is a party which is related to the groups such as the VHP and the bajrang
dal.
The BJP,when it was in power banned the SIMI,the ideological equivalent of the
VHP and the Bajrang dal.An imbalance is created when the proponents of one religion have a link with the government,which bans a group which advocates a minority religion.
One of the roots of the present climate in the country could be traced to the
banning of the SIMI by the BJP.
Salman Khurshid said on TIMES NOW that it was the record of the Gujarat police in
fake encounters which raises doubts in the minds of the muslims.
The SIMI might consist of some people who would like to turn India into an
islamic country.Similarly,the bajrang dal and the VHP might consist of a section
which would want India to be declared a hindu country.

too clever or too mediocre
some of the so called elites of our country,probably all of them vaishnavites are always exerting themselves to show themselves as too clever.
however hard they have been exerting themselves,the doubt that has started to surface is whether their actions are done with a view to mask their mediocrity.
this mediocrity was overcome by developing the great stories of fantastic lineage which have been wonderfully interlinked with rama and his times.this project has helped in gaining considerable mileage after the freedom struggle and the rationalist movement.
the mediocrity of our country which was stifled under this reservation scheme by peddling fantasy and superstition has been slowly and systematically removed through the sixty years of a democratic existence.
the mediocre vaishnavite has been at pains to decry every positive development .
this kind of a existence can easily be changed by giving up the pretensions to being too clever and becoming one with the people.
in the desperate urge to have its own in government,the mediocre vaishnavite has been distracting and detracting the masses ,some of whom have been converted into defenders in the name of rama.
if instead of pretending,the mediocre vaishnavite had learnt to live and work like the general masses,he would have gained his place under the sun.
the bharatiya jhoot party,if it had played the role of a decent and honest opposition would have walked over into the government.
the painful guilt of mediocrity is what is wrecking its chances of normal existence.
the pain exists because of the false pretensions of the past which have been showed up to be what they are.

one point was pure and sure feel good for the people who have been made to wallow in inferiority and are therefore existing in a state of self pity.
it was about the hindus not having invaded another country.
what was ashoka doing in kalinga is the query that could be put to such people
who are probably ignorant of a feel of the country at large and take the vedas to be the
driving force behind the religion of the people.
