never came of age

for all the great delusion that we have become a modern society, and that we are evolving into a great new level, the naked truth is that who has the money wants to utilize it to gain control over others.

the americans, with all their money, and the chinese, with all the new money, are behaving as if, money needs to be used to gain stature and a long reach. the opposite would seem to be true. when you have lots of money, it means that you have acquired a technology, a means of production, a way to efficiency, and hence, you must possess a confidence about your ability and potential in attracting collaborators and being successful.

however, both the US and China are behaving in the reverse mode. they are behaving as if they desperately need to have supporters for their good run to last.

this reveals a predilection towards the thought that things can only get worse.

what this means is a thorough failure to evaluate and use the human brain, and try to grow with what is under one's control, instead of trying to seek to control everything.

the sinhalese are revealing to the world, that it is not possible to be victorious and humble at the same time. the godforsaken sad sinhalese are going about doing everything that they did in the sixties and seventies.

when they are brought to their senses, it will be a blow so hard and sudden, that they will wish they were extinct.

in this world, anybody can be forgiven, except for the proud and rapacious winner.and nature gives lessons and a chance to everyone to savour the victory in the light of the struggle during the journey.

are there any lessons learnt.

the whole world seems to have learnt nothing.

when someone gets money, they set about to thinking that it is their era.

the poor tamils

they do not even have their own new year.

they think that whatever the brahmins tell them are supremely devotional.

they do all that the brahmins tell them to do.

at their marriages, the brahmins have to chant some mantras, which these tamils have no way of understanding.

but still, the brahmins need to officiate their marriages.

however, when it is time for death, the brahmin is not needed.

the tamils do all the pujas, yaagas, prescribed by the brahmins, when they build houses, open shops etc.

for these tamils, the brahmins are the crutch.

as they go about making money, they develop fears, and to nullify them, they go to the brahmins.

as a result, the tamils forget, erase their history.

they cannot even countenance someone telling them that their past was glorious and flourishing, without the brahmins.

what a fool you are, they tell the person that informs.

and then they go everywhere, to every temple, that the brahmin asks them to go.

they think that only the last 500 years count.

everything before that is not needed for them.

as they go about earning, with the support of the brahmins.

if only the last 500 years count, then why make a hue and cry about the tragedy that has befallen the eelam tamils.

when you vote for a chief minister who decides what is your new year, and you are happy, as you are continued to be linked to your favorite gods, why do you make a hue and cry about what happens in eelam.

if the buddhists want to decide for the eelam tamils, what their history is, why are you making a hue and cry.

when you yourself have allowed a brahmin to decide your new year, and erase your history.

why cannot the buddhist do the same in sri lanka.

you, the tamil, living in tamilnadu, do not want anything to come in between you and your favorite gods, and your money-making capacity and potential.

then why do you want to wage the cause of the eelam tamil.

you will laugh off when told that tamil scholars decided that we, the tamils, need a new year connected to our heritage, and not connected to some brahmin invention.

you will not realise that what has happened in eelam, is happening here silently, by the peddling of the so-called hindu religion to you.

just like the jaffna library was razed, the anna centenary library will be destroyed.

do you know what Anna spoke, what Anna lived, what Anna created.

If you know, you will cry and die, when you realise that the Anna DMK is the ruling party in your state.

you will cry and die when you realise that it is the Anna DMK that changed your new year, from the secular heritage, to the brahmin heritage.

if you have sold your history and culture to the brahmin and his utterances, if you have shed your history and culture for the comfort of mantras and money.

then, you, the tamil of tamilnadu, has no right to stop the sinhalese from doing what he wants.

the brahmin cannot be faulted, when the tamils are overeager to buy their wealth and their success, with mantras.

the brahmin cannot be faulted, when the tamils want more money and perennial power, over peace and harmony.

those brahmins who counter the tamils who want to lead their people into the glory and the honour of their heritage, it is those brahmins who have to be faulted.

the poor tamils will continue to worship vinayaga and vishnu.

the poor tamils will continue to allow the construction of a cult of siva, that is being built with help from the north indian hindutva organisations.

the poor tamils will forget that, if at all there is a saivism, it is that saivism which says anbe sivam.

the poor tamils will not realise that that original thinking, does not need a brahmin priest officiaiting with sanskrit mantras.

the poor tamils will recall that 200 years back, tamil was termed as an unholy language, and kept out of temples.

they allowed the brahmins to occupy the helm, and that is what happened.

remember, what happened to the eelam tamils, was a result of internal divisions.

if it is the buddhist there, it is the brahmin here.

the final guilt lies within us, when we allow outside forces to wreck and rewrite our culture and history.

along with the loss of your new year, you also lost the chennai sangamam, because that could have been your reconnect to your real culture.

when you have been vanquished neatly here, it is indeed painful to see that our eelam people have been vanquished brutally.

if you want to make a hue and cry about the tragedy in eelam, do it by stating to the sinhalese, why did you vanquish our people so brutally, see how we allowed ourselves to be vanquished so neatly and smoothly.

tell the sinhalese that he made a mistake.

sri lanka

there are some sinhalese who seem to think that they own the entire island. What is needed is the addressal of the question of whether the Tamils were on the island before the sinhalese. If that is not te case, does that give the sinhalese the authority to fire into places where civilians are assembled.

the comments to this article reveal the level of hate that is there on the island. This is not a multicultural coutry. it is an island where two languages are spoken, and these two languages will always be involved in one-upmanship. the only way out is a Tamil homeland.

how many truths must it take for the illegal sinhalese entity to be forced to withdraw

all the horrors that were and are borne by the people of tamil eelam.

http://www.srilankaguardian.org/2011/03/vanquished-people.html

yet, these and various other kinds of normal human happenings are witnessed.

http://www.tamilnet.com/art.html?catid=13&artid=33726

and then, we have this article by tamilnet which reveals the thinking that equates  the DMK and the AIADMK.

http://www.tamilnet.com/art.html?catid=79&artid=33720

The original movement that was formed to save the tamil and the dravidian culture is equated with the opportunistic party formed by the actor who mouthed dialogues. that leader has been succeeded by another highly individualistic leader who has proved to be anything but a representative democrat. if tamilnet still is continuing in not understanding that the DMK is the movement with the people who can help them achieve their purpose, the people behind this portal are wrecking their simple cause. their cause is simple and documented. and their opponent, the sinhalese state, has proved that it is an illegal entity, by its acts when it was thrown the chance to gain victory.

at this stage, we are witnessing tamilnet wanting to repel all the tamil people by publishing articles that want to equate the DMK  and the AIADMK.

all that the tgte needs to do is ask obama as to why he is attacking libya. if obama replies that the libyan government is killing its own citizens, then the tgte must ask obama about why rajapakse can do it and why gaddhafi cannot do it.

the complexed and the contrived chinese step onto the world stage

how do they do it, by allying and colluding with a sinhala regime that thinks the world is populated by capitalist addicts of power, wealth and avarice. that might be the situation in the world where everyone is neatly behind this or that god or godman, and diseased with the lack of the alliance with nature, culture and language. the so-called liberals labour under an illusion of elitism and artificialism or atleast with a feeling of  insignificance.

a country with everything going for it, and a stable one-party structure, cannot fathom a confidence or a dignity, but behaves with a jingoism and a necessity for projecting a brute image. China is an ancient civilisation just like ours, it had bad experiences with colonialism and foreign occupation, not very unlike what we experienced. while we behave with dignity that distinguishes us for our heritage and antiquity, though we do not have any great power, the behavior of the chinese is much like a new bloke in town, a rootless wanderer, who lives just for the moment. maybe, there is something wrong within China that makes them want to collude with the land thieves of the so-called sri lanka. are the chinese so desperate to maintain their wealth that they want to ally with thieves.

one of these sinhalese ministers says that the ground realities have changed in Sri lanka. the minister is sought to be shown as an intellectual by the hindu newspaper which tells that he is a double graduate or rhodes scholar or something like that. however the spin might be imparted, this is the language of a thief who is revelling in new-found wealth and power, that the thief himself never expected would come his way. and who does the thief have as his partner, an ancient and cultural great land that had itself survived the onslaught of those that surrounded it, before having achieved a stability and a success in the last fifty years.

what does the rhodes scholar mean by "the ground realities have changed in Sri Lanka". only his chinese counterparts can attempt to explain.

http://www.hindu.com/2010/10/18/stories/2010101855181100.htm

why do the chinese need to behave as if they fear India, by going around and spreading instability in Sri Lanka, Paistan, Burma. Do the Chinese think that they are helping these countries by courting them. these countries are being lulled into folly by the interactions of the chinese. what do all the experiences of the chinese, from the long march, count for today, when they have stepped onto the home stretch. they project a complexed and contrived image. maybe, the one-party system has enormous pressures among the various individual claimants, who need the projection of the tough war-mongering image to cover up their stresses.

what the chinese communist party needs to inform its members is that the world wants them to succeed, and that they have everything going for them, and that pressures for positions are normal, and have to be acknowledged in the open. they are also humans, and not some robotic extra terrestrials. an openness of the party will only be possible with the confidence that their system is unique but will have shortcomings, but the greatest treasure that they hold is their culture and civilisation. they should not be helping land thieves and helping annihilate cultures. the cia and the american warlords of capitalism have revealed that every country can succeed only if it caters to its people, with the facilities at hand and available.

the fool

mahinda rajapakse is a fool of a pedigree, that cannot have been imagined by any human being.
if george bush was the target of jokes,he could have been said to be only going after those that attacked his country.his attackers tageted his country because they felt that the u.s was meddling in the afairs of others.

though george bush has achieved a semblance of victory, george bush and his successors will surely not pretend to imagine that iraq and afghanistan are theirs to be lorded over.

the fool of sri lanka has now had one year to state the obvious,to heal the wounds,to apply the balm of reaching out.

instead, the fool behaves like he is just a successful politician, not someone who is sitting at a unique moment, where there is a chance to grasp peace,by atoning for the past.

the fool has let slipped the opportunity, basically because it was not in him to know the big picture.and now, that the people of eelam have been given a chance to have a good hard look at all the struggles and all the blemishes, a new arising is to shine, and one can only feel sorry for the fool, who lives on borrowed time, and on borrowed land.

why could'nt it have been better for the fool, why could nt he have found it in himself to act noble, with honour, with truth....why did he have to fall a victim of buddhist fundamentalism..

all his people know that they are having a temporary fantasy...and the fool continues to behave like a successful politician.

the eelam leader, knew the nature of the opposition very well.

as the divinely ordained conference in coimbatore celebrates classical tamil, the hero who fought for his people, will know that the fight was a good fight, the way to live, when faced with a foe,be it a stupid one or even a childish one,the classical way,was demonstrated.

the world tamil classical conference will be the crown of the eelam army, that fought for its land.

the chance to recognize the opposing ones, those that have come and spread their poison in the pure and sweet pongal, the ones who live in the bounty of nature, and yet lie and spread poison with pride and deceit.

these are the ones, that history is revealing to us,as the language of the earth comes back to calm the human beings, who have lost themselves to the different unnatural pulls and urges of disharmony and disintegration.

and the fools in tamilnadu, the vaikos and the jayalalithaas, and some striking lawyers, also continue to act out their roles of jokers to history.

fools exist everywhere, but to have a fool at the moment of destiny is the curse of the sinhalese people.

israel and sri lanka

israel is punishing the people of the gaza strip for having exercised their democratic option and for having voted for the hamas.
the hamas is not able to digest the fact of the existence of the state of israel, populated as it is by people such as those that govern it,and achieved as it was,by stealing and subterfuge.
the hamas has the right to deny israel its existence, the people have the right to support or reject the ideology of hamas.
israel has the right to defend itself, when attacked, but does it have the right to prevent people from thinking and voting.
if the people of the gaza strip endorse a war to the finish, israel must fight to defend its territory, which was anyway achieved by aggression.

the sri lankan government has the right to defend itself, but does it have the right to prevent people from wanting their own country.
a youth was arrested for possessing a ltte song on his mobile phone last week.
the totalitarian state that is attempting to stamp out every aspiration of the people,by attempting to depict its overwhelming presence is not being condemned by any state or the un.

who are the sinhalese to prevent the state of eelam from regaining its past position.
if the british rule is used to erase the past and create a sinhalese superiority, then the tamils have the right to reclaim their land and country.
if the sinhalese acknowledge the duality of the past, then there can only be a constitution like that of India.
over here, we have newer states that have evolved over the years.
the least that the sinhalese president must put forward is a formation of an indian-type constitution or otherwise, the formation of the north and the east into a new state.

the call for eelam must be loud and clear from the transnational government.
then, we will know, who is opposing it.
the sri lankan state can suggest alternatives, whereby a single country can accomodate every peoples rightful position.

the dmk should think of expanding itself into sri lanka,so that the casteist mentality of certain sections of the eelam tamils,is not allowed to mar the new beginning.

truth will triumph

if at all there is anything which is the nearest to getting grasped by every human,it is that truth is something to aspire to.
http://www.hindu.com/2009/12/28/stories/2009122856020800.htm

if the indian system has fought valiantly and patiently,it has won the trust of the kashmir people.peace and harmony are at hand which has made certain forces to resort to destroying truth in a bid to keep their hopes and dreams alive.with the changing of times, political forces have to learn to adapt.

in sri lanka, the sri lankan system was engaged in a fight with its neighbour, the state of eelam and when there was a chance for it in the form of a global weariness and distraction,it went in for a quick decimation of the opposition.
having decimated the opposition,it was still not possible for it to treat the civilians as its own and win them over with truth love and hope.
what it did was a natural corollary of its surprise victory, which was the quest to turn the victory into all encompassing conquest.
after three decades of war,any other conflict in the world would have witnessed the healing touch and an expression of the gravity of the causes and the effects and the future.
here,in sri lanka,we have the president and his war general fighting over who will gain in stature.it never was in rajapakse to possibly become a churchill, someone who was fighting with destiny on his side.he was fighting against destiny without making the least effort to err on the side of truth.the state of eelam was not something which was illegal unjust and that state was not engaged in wanton inhumanity.it was fighting against the various forces arrayed against itself, within and outside and had a central core of discipline and was on the side of history.it was to have been engaged with trust and truth.
what happened was the designation of the state as illegal and worse, classifying the state s forces as terrorists.
this falsehood has naturally made it impossible for the surprise victors to act truthfully and honestly.all those who went along with this have the obligation to rectify the misjudgement and accept the truth and move to redress the situation forthwith.
guantonomo bay might be getting enacted in more tragic circumstances by the tribulations of the eelam forces at the hands of the victorious victims in sri lanka.

states re organisation

as the indian people are going through the various demands for statehood,it will also provide them with an opportunity to look at the events in sri lanka where some of us thought that the sri lankan army was justified in crushing the revolution there.
all sorts of arguments are being bandied about here for and against the formation of states and our government has also stated that it is having an open mind.
in the case of tamil eelam, when there is only one possibility and that is that of a separate country, anyone arguing for the military defeat of the eelam army should have also proposed the solution of a changed framework.
while the eelam army was performing its responsibilities in fighting against invasion, all of us have failed in not grasping the fundamentals of arguing for the change in framework and the accomodation of the justice of the aspirations and just focussing on the war.
we were guilty of going in there and trying to stifle the aspirations there;it was only natural that they reacted like they did, targeting our prime minister.rajiv gandhi was young and in a hurry and those were different times.the solution that he ensured is still the point from which things are being taken forward but there were voices among the eelam tamils who were not ready to accept anything short of nationality and who were wholly justified in their dream.
that resulted in the tragedy of us losing our prime minister and all the possibilities of a mature and strong leadership.
people like evks elangovan who are just not able to grasp the subtleness required are barging ahead like a bull in a china shop.
it looks like divine justice that we are now engaged in this state reorganisation imbroglio after not having spared the effort and the energy to ensure the right framework in sri lanka when the war was ongoing.we left it all to the vagaries of democracy and now we have fonseka spilling the beans.
http://www.theage.com.au/world/tiger-rebels-executed-at-wars-end-20091213-kqg3.html
whatever might have been feared from the dawn of eelam is anyway playing itself out now.
as we take stock and restate the fundamentals,it is up to us to make the forceful statement of the ideal solution in the island and not just reduce it into a bureaucratic exercise.let there not be any more cruel joke and spectacle of some benign observance and exposition of the democratic sideshow in sri lanka.no more acting out of the statesmanly charade.

the end of buddhism in sri lanka

the exact number of members of the eelam armed forces in the custody of the sri lankan armed forces and the conditions under which they are held has not been revealed until now.
there are about 10 000 prisoners of war whom the sri lankan government is interrogating for the last five months.
the sri lankan government, having used the label of terrorism would not be constrained in using illegal methods of interrogation.
can any government anywhere in the world reveal whether they have anywhere near 10 000 terrorists in their custody.
the sri lankan government is having 10 000 terrorists in its custody,do they need lawyers to represent them or has the sri lankan government decided to model itself on guantonomo bay.
the american president and the european union president should visit sri lanka and find out how the government has managed to arrest 10 000 terrorists.
the rest of the world is least bothered about these 10 000 terrorists in the sri lankan custody as they are terrorists who are beneath human civilisational standards.these 10 000 terrorists can be dealt with in whatever manner that the sri lankan government wishes.
the blood on the world s hands will have to be answered sooner or later.the sri lankan elite who profess the religion of buddhism have revealed that this religion has utterly failed in maintaining the minimum requirements of truth and justice.
when there was fighting,it was labelled terrorism and when they have been defeated, the state will appropriate the moral higher ground and no questions will be asked.
the entire fight was never warranted and hence the suppression will be indefinite after they have been incarcerated.
it is a matter of time before the truth will come out.
the great vanquishing of the so called terrorism has now resulted in the petty quarrels of politics between the so called victors, one who got himself anointed in the historical precedent and another who is not able to rest with the laurels of defeating the so called terrorists.

what if

there had been no attempts by the sinhalese to make buddhism and sinhalese prevail over the tamils.
it is a possibility that the country would have had a modern outlook by now with all the people having the identity of the island nation.
the problems began right with the naming of the country.
if it had retained some earlier name,it is not hard to imagine that it would have become quite a happy and prosperous place, attracting many tamils and indians looking for job opportunities.a flourishing and stable island at the southern end of india might have altered the focus of our country as more of the north in it much earlier than now.it is almost a no go zone now.religious tourism would have been a prime component of the traffic.most indians would have been spending time on the island during vacations, the traffic between chennai and colombo would have resulted in the software revolution taking root in the island,in jaffna probably.more of our movies would have been made in sri lanka.the inter connectivity and intermingling would have made it almost a part of india.if there were colleges over there, the environs would have been attractive to students.most of the urban populations of the two countries would have been travelling routinely between the two countries.
if kashmir had not been invaded by pakistan,it would also have become one such place, where both indians and pakistanis would have gravitated to.
the traffic between the north and pakistan would have been robust and dynamic and full of life, more people doing trade with each other, instead of exporting to the usa and europe.it would have been a self sufficient existence for the sub continent.
the pakistanis invaded kashmir and the sinhalese sought to brow beat the tamils and all of these possibilities were lost.
the saarc was an initiative in the right direction but nothing much can be sen today.
the sinhalese thought that they would crush the armed struggle of the tamils and things would be back as they liked it.it did not strike them that having made all the blunders,it was up to them to walk the extra mile in getting the tamils to give up their nation.they got stuck in some battles which some guy had won sometime in history.
the men who are stuck in the past and want to go back to the events of one millennium back which were settled long ago are the ones standing in the way of a contented population.
the advanis who think that they will turn back time and get to some point from which they can restart time and freeze the entry of thinking and people into their defined areas, the hafiz saeeds who want to make another attempt to spread their religion in an area which has a simplicity and a morality and an intelligence that cannot be forced into a strict code or a book, the rajapakses who want to make believe.
these are the ones who are hopelessly labouring in the service of the religion that they were born into and not realising that religion is after all for living a honest and a trouble free life.if a religion is followed by just one human being and it is helping him to live a good and healthy life,it will still be a great religion.

terror in sri lanka

http://asia.news.yahoo.com/ap/20090930/tap-as-sri-lanka-refugees-510daa6.html

if the mines in the north are what is preventing the buddhist terrorists from releasing 300,000 people, what is preventing free access to these 300,000 people.
a child has been paralysed in an incident yesterday.
the buddhist fundamentalists are digging their own graves and are irreparably damaging the name of their religion.
the war has been claimed to be over but the buddhist fundamentalist is paranoid that he will lose this new found upper hand.deep in his mind,he knows that he cannot fashion a buddhist country under normal circumstances.the overwhelming attachment to establishing his religion has blinded him and stopped the normal functioning of his faculties.
he has begun to believe that he is having a divine mandate to establish the supremacy of his religion.
how the most noble religion is being used as a tool for satisfying basic human desires of seeking and strengthening power is the end of the loftiness of buddhism.
300,000 people being denied access to the outside world and vice versa is the shame that all those reasonable people who were entirely convinced that the ltte needed to be vanquished, whatever the methods used, have no time or energy to address.
the times will change and the ltte chief will be appreciated for the fight against religious fundamentalism.
the ltte began the fight against terror, the war on terror began in the seventies in the island of sri lanka.

methodical,was it predicted?

http://news.ino.com/headlines/?newsid=92820091317

the confident and sure buddhist fundamentalist is systematically acting out the script that will achieve the natural formation of eelam,
humans start to believe too much in their abilities to cheat history,if china is doing a supportive service to the sri lankan state,it must be their worst strategic act.
or is there some deep strategic planning involved in fomenting anger in tamil nadu which cannot but explode in some form.
why did not the cheerleaders realise that there cannot be any other way that the sri lankan state could behave.
i cannot understand the foolishness of the actions and talk of the sri lankan state, could there not be a chance for these fundamentalists to understand that they are headed in the wrong direction.
it surely has to be a fatalist tendency as they realise that everything is stacked in favour of eelam.
if china has indeed calculated that arousing antagonism in the tamil land would tie down india and result in a multiplier effect, then equally, our bureaucrats, have to start getting their act together.
the moral justification of the killing of our leader rajiv gandhi has run its course.
the ltte chief knew his enemy better than anyone else,he was the ultimate observer and the protagonist right from the beginning.
if the buddhist fundamentalists are thinking that they can tarnish the history of the fight, then their religion has failed them abysmally.

Lasantha Wickramatunga and J.S Tissainayagam

http://www.tamilnet.com/art.html?catid=13&artid=30138

wickramatunga should have shared the award with tissainayagam.the editorial written by him prior to his death captures the essence of mahinda rajapakse, the buddhist terrorist.

n ram

the founder president of the mahinda rajapakse adulation society might have started to feel a little uncomfortable by now.
one of his leading lights has spoken something different.
http://www.tamilnet.com/art.html?catid=13&artid=29846
the lankans are now also getting a little uncomfortable.
http://www.sundayobserver.lk/2009/07/26/sec03.asp
the bogey of terrorism has been taken out by the sacrifice of the supreme leader.
the hard questions will be asked in the coming days and n ram will be needing to make a dramatic shift like the lk advani interview in the midst of the n deal debate.that over dramatisation and build up of THE HINDU fell flat on its face, though.
this time, having seen out his zeal to portray the eelam army as something inimical to some lofty standards, the same lofty standards require a similar zeal to reveal the truth about rajapakse, the idiot who thinks he is smart by holding 300,000 people for screening.the idiot and his cohorts were given good p r by n ram and his grand interviews.
it is time n ram undertakes a visit to the island and gives an account of the 300,000 peoples tribulations.
the lofty standards of journalism will receive further respect only if n ram realises that the sheen is starting to wear off now.
is n ram a propagandist for mahinda rajapakse?
accusations made in public will return to haunt and stick, badly.
the respect for the stand he took and the way he stood it out might have been appreciated by the eelam chief himself,is not going to last one day,if he does not realise that there is a lot of genuine grievance out here.
but, what is important now is whether n ram is consistent or whether he wants to cling to the post of the founder president of the mahinda rajapakse adulation society.
if building institutions and peace requires that some journalists can live with people being screened en masse, those journalists will fall in esteem, however high they might have perched themselves.
all the good work of the past will be undone.

emigration

the eelam issue should be brought to a quick resolution by getting a campaign initiated which mobilises the entire tamil diaspora.

the fundamental fight has been waged.

the stand has been made.

the supreme hero has stood tall and firm.

the sinhalese had to kill the citizens of eelam in a desperate attempt to stave off the imminent.

this situation has been created by the sacrifices of the eelam army, the sinhalese had to fight to use the chance.if they are able to immediately allow the citizens to go back to their respective places and if they are able to allow aid agencies to freely operate starting next week, then, they have some chance of getting the world to believe that the war is over.

if there are any reports of any screening of civilians ,that is the end of the sri lanka of today.

there cannot be any more logic in screening civilians after celebrating the end of the war.

who created the country of sri lanka?

it was a sinhalese majority which initiated these acts after independence in 1948.

will mahinda rajapakse stand up and state that the country of sri lanka existed from time immemorial and which was later populated by the tamils?

any sane person will realise that the reverse is true.

this fact of history is at the heart of the sinhalese disquiet and attempt to dominate and descent into crime.

this leads one to the issue of newer peoples and their attempts to create cultures which give a stamp of separateness.

one of the oldest nations on earth is now fighting for its survival, the fight has been brought about by the insecurities of newer peoples.

the human race has evolved over the centuries from a small area.people moving into newer areas will inevitably try to dominate,at least make attempts to dominate, otherwise, the reverse might happen.

these attempts to dominate were successful in america and australia.

in india, the newer peoples have always been assimilated, with very rare attempts having been made by them to dominate the older peoples by force.

the accident of this happening in sri lanka was possible because of it being an island and because of the disproportionate multiplication of the sinhalese over the centuries and the dramatic gaining of power in 1948.

the sinhalese have committed crimes in their fear of losing what they have gained.

they have forgotten that if they can work themselves into such patriotic zeal, the tamils have equal rights to engage in the same.

the sinhalese zealots have stated the numbers of the forces that they have lost,if they had a quest for the truth, they would have stated the numbers of civilians that lost their lives.

the tamil diaspora should realise that the case has been made for the creation of tamil eelam by the unwise acts of the sinhalese establishment which were taken to their logical conclusion by the supreme hero.

the conclusion was scripted by the supreme hero,he might have lived to talk about it,it is time now for a closing of the ranks of all tamils worldwide and bring forward the creation of eelam.

the case is the simplest of cases with all the arguments having been made by history and the resoluteness of the supreme hero to achieve it.

it is human nature, fear and folly that has caused this tragedy.

the nations of eelam and sri lanka should be allowed to move on and co exist peacefully.

the pain of a tortured people has to be healed, the brutality of the perpetrators of the pain should be forgiven and forgotten.

the victims will not be forgotten, the eelam army has fought for that.

mahinda rajapakse

is alive, news reports coming out of sri lanka reveal that he was spotted making some statements about not allowing conditions of any kind while negotiating for a loan that will keep the country going.
a cherubic character whom history has placed at the point where he had to act out the part which leads to justice and peace between the nations of eelam and sri lanka.
THE HINDU has given him full marks for acting with admirable restraint whereas at the same time, the UN has accused him of war crimes.
it will be good for him if the part acquires the ending sooner through an inability to continue the war because of a lack of money.

TAMILNET

when the eelam independence movement walked out of the geneva talks,it was indicating that it would not settle for anything short of a separate state.

the international community has blood on its hands now,as it took umbrage at the geneva walkout and threw its full weight behind one party, the sri lankan state.

the perceived terrorism of the eelam independence movement and the splinter organisations which had allied with the other side had led the international community into the crime of allowing civilians to be killed.

what is clear is that eelam is another cuba which has to stand up on its own against the might of the international community.

if the cubans had the support of the soviets, the eelam citizens have the support of the people of tamil nadu.

there are some elements which turn this support into a political slug fest by trying and turning the anguish of the people towards the DMK and the INC.

this attempt will ultimately result in the eelam cause not receiving the undivided attention that it needs of the people of tamilnadu.

if portals like tamil net are aiding this tactic of politicising the process,it is a profound mistake.

what the people of tamilnadu have to do immediately is to signal to the international community that it is responsible for the deaths of civilians in the thousands.

a brutal war is never going to justify whatever political or economic goals that the international community has.

the interlocutor was not able to live up to its obligations and the interlocutor had to be changed, instead the international community threw up its hands in feigned frustration.

the people of tamilnadu and all other activists and organisations have to steer clear of targeting the governments in tamilnadu and at the centre if they want to achieve any real movement on the ground.

portals like tamil net have to realise that they they are doing their cause no good by engaging in politics.

war strategy of the eelam army

the eelam army would have managed to retain a core fighting strength of a minimum of 5000 soldiers and atleast a 1000 seamen and airmen.

the sri lankan army is said to consist of 200,000 fighters.

http://www.frontlineonnet.com/stories/20090130260212900.htm

having pushed the eelam army out of its territory, the sri lankan army would have to spread itself thin to maintain a presence over all of the captured territory.

the eelam army would have considered a strategy of leaving behind units of 50 soldiers each in the areas from which it has withdrawn to launch attacks from within.

the territory from which the eelam army has withdrawn is around 2000 sq kms and consists of atleast twenty towns.

if the sri lankan army has stationed at least two thousand men in each town, that would work out to around fifty thousand men manning the captured towns.

these two thousand men would now be isolated targets for guerilla units of the eelam army which can plan and assault.

the highways would be mined and attacks would be launched on convoys.

the war in mullaithivu would be strategised to outcircle the advancing weary army.

considering all of these options that would have gone into the planning of the eelam army, the sri lankan war govts desperation would turn towards targeting the civilians who would fill the ranks soon, which it has begun to do in the first month of 2009,and in the final months of 2008.

the moot point is whether the eelam airforce would be justified if it undertakes bombings in the south.

the only sane explanation for all the effort expended into the war in the last two years would be that this is the final bargaining act to define the boundaries of the new nation that is going to come into existence.

these two years should allow the warring sides to arrive at a final definite agreement with regard to the boundaries so that they are able to begin a harmonious existence as friendly neighbours.

the congress party and tamil eelam

the indian establishment has been working behind the scenes towards ending the traumatic war in ceylon by facilitating the establishment of Eelam.
there have not been any overt backings towards the sri lankan efforts to act out the impossible.
whatever needs to be done to retain a say and a hold have been done.
the Eelam army, will have retained the ability to hit back and retain the areas which it has lost.
if that is managed by the Eelam army, the dawn of Eelam is not very far away.
the sri lankans have sought to minimise the territory of the new country by pushing back the Eelam army as much as possible so that the Eelam army is not able to reach its ideal boundaries.
a final agreement would have to be acceptable to the opposition in sri lanka.
mahinda rajapakse might have begun the process of finalising the boundaries with the government of India.
The Indian government will also be thinking about guiding the transformation of Eelam into a democracy.
