the writer, shalini singh, is obviously having no qualms or compunctions about what she does to bring her her salary at the end of the month. She and her company have decided to employ words loosely. This gets titillation and audiences. If there were no audiences, what is the point in living?

Is there any honour in living without a five or six figure salary? Is there  life at all without money?

an english news channel was showing this headline today. if they have already been certified as scamsters, then why is the court conducting the case.

when will A Raja be allowed to present his case to the people

In an ongoing investigation, A Raja has been in prison for more than a month. The CBI tells something to the court, releases something to the electronic media, tells it will go abroad. All this while, the ex-telecom minister has allowed himself not to be heard.In the history of democracy in the world, there cannot have been a case of cooperation with investigation to the extent as has been done by A Raja.

The decisions of a minister are there in the open. If any decision is to be analyzed, it is absolutely essential in democracy.

what we are ending up doing here is allowing the media to give a slanted and jaundiced picture to the public, which begins with the assumption that the minister is totally wrong and that other constitutional bodies are totally right. this kind of representation by the media is done wholly because the media of our time is filled with people who have no intellectual and moral standard. the media is full of marketers like aroon purie, and jokers like arnab goswami. there are plain imposters like those in the new indian express group. there are some in between who have no clue about what to do in this scenario. they go about smiling cleverly giving the picture and insinuating that the political class is just not correct. all of these people want to think that without a corrupt political class, their existence would be baseless.

what does seetha know about telecom auctions and about divestment of stake..she talks about lakhs of crores. Seetha will never learn anything, never understand anything, and will continue in her state of folly and misinformation, as long as we have a media like what we have today.

James tells next that the interview is aimed at boosting the public image of Mr. Raja. James does not want to listen to the other side of the picture. he is convinced thoroughly that there is no case to be made on the behalf of the minister who has been charged with procedural lapses.

if this is the state in which our citizens exist, then we will never become an enlightened and sober democracy. we will be turned into unthinking fools, who will be handed into the custody of gun-wielding revolutionaries who brook no nonsense like that served up by the aroon puries, arnab goswamis, the vaidyanathan iyers, the cho ramasamys and the prabhu chawlas.

one more reputed journalist has fallen victim to the pitfall of the 2g hullabaloo. joining n ram, prabhu chawla, and vir sanghvi is p sainath. all he talks makes sense, even his anger that makes him label the government an integrity-challenged Cuckoo is acceptable. but when he wades and generalises into the 2g spectrum issue, he loses all the reputation for hard-hitting factual journalism that he is renowned for. it is as if n ram had requested him to make a reference to the 2g spectrum, and having given it some thought, p sainath comes up with his take of an auction actually having taken place.

this guy who writes editorials at the Hindu is so fixated on this being the biggest scam in history that he makes a song and dance about it at every opportunity. the supposedly-left leaning person will next tell that the entire telecom sector is made of scamsters. the whole thing is in fact the biggest wild goose chase in the history of the world, not only in the history of independent India. not one media house has had the ability to delve into the issues with a honest approach. all of them wanted to grab the issue on a daily basis, and wanted to utilize it in some petty manner. if the highlight of this whole sordid media spectacle is the hindu calling it the biggest scam in independent India, then p sainath has gone past that with his wisecrack about astronomical sums of money, which makes him just perfect for the description of integrity-challenged Cuckoo.

mpr panicker of north parur writes to the new indian express," the money earned by the 2g beneficiaries goes to line the pockets of industrial groups, intermediaries and other profiteers."

all these people are prime examples of manufactured products of the media. all these people seem to think that 2g licenses must have been given to some suitably unmoneyed person. doing business is a ungodly endeavour for all of the above media manufactured products, because it will make people rich, and  rich people must not be given 2g licenses. why have such people totally lost it, lost what the prime minister explained, what the facts are? it is because there are media paragons who do not have it in them to state facts or argue the logic. these media paragons have revealed themselves to be ill at ease with the need of the times. they go about manufacturing and grooming and fashioning the people into one track sters who cannot think in a different way, than what these paragons dish out. the majority of the people remain out of the clutches of such paragons and their publications, and henece the damage is minimal. the damage is essentially to those who are unlucky enought to be exposed to just these unmeritorious publications.

we are constrained to state that prabhu chawla is also an idiot, like his predecessor, maybe a few degrees less.  how does the subsidy jingle into some of the deepest pockets, things are descending rapidly into sheer lunacy. we realise that every single of these media editors is just a wholly undeserving and sick joke on those who read them. this idiot suggests that an oil sheikh should not be a part of the telecom revolution in our country, an oil sheikh should not have a stake in a telecom company because he is an oil sheikh. if being an oil sheikh is something wrong and disqualifies a company run by an oil sheikh from participating in telecom, then this fool chawla must stop using petrol, because it seems to be unedifying to be making money from selling petro. the fool chawla must stop buying petrol also. how does money jingle into a builder baron. is a builder baron disqualified from applying for a telecom license.

the situation is topped and finessed by judges of the supreme court who like to think they are superstars, who like to hand over headlines on a daily basis to the self serving idiots of the media. the court's observation is the headline...the judges like their role of final arbiters, forgetting the need for sobriety and dignity. the corrective to this self serving and straying people must be applied by us immediately...otherwise, only the maoists will be able to do the job.

do we need a great and working country, or do we need the prabhu chawlas and the arnab goswamis to be earning a good salary.
