The Humiliating Crash Landing of The Samajwadi Party

The great loss that the Samajwadi Party has faced in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections reveals that in politics experience is what really counts. If going in for a fresh face was hitherto seen as the only right decision, Akhilesh Yadav has proven that he is in no way fit for holding the post of chief minister of a vast state such as Uttar Pradesh.

Two instances that I can recall that were revealing of his sad immaturity are the adoption of Billy Joel's song "We Did'nt start the Fire" to make up the tune for the Samajwadi Party Election Song. This is the most bizarre behaviour that I have seen in an Indian politician.

The next episode that I can present is an interview that Akhilesh Yadav gave to Headlines Today where the chief minister and the interviewer were talking to each other while riding slowly on bicycles. Behind them, gun-wielding security were jogging as the interview progressed. If the CM did not even have the sense to ask the security to stay put while he went on a bicycle ride, it reveals that Akhilesh Yadav had no idea about the job that he is holding.

Another important factor was these fellows of the SP allowed the impression to percolate around the country that they were on the side of the muslims of Muzaffarnagar. This was even openly being stated in newspapers and televison channels as the strategy of the SP to mobilise the muslim vote.

On the other hand, what was actually going on in the ground was probably different but the impression that the SP favoured the muslims would have caused people to boil. Such a basic reaction can be anticipated by anybody but it was not anticipated by Akhilesh Yadav. This proves that he is a dummy and nowhere near changing from that state. If he had even 1 percent of sense, he would have gone to Muzaffarnagar and stated loud and clear that his government was not favouring anybody but was with all the people of the state. He should have stated that people should live in peace and spent a week in the area.

But, he did not do anything of that sort, allowing camps to come up and then telling that the people in the camps were not riot victims. The way that perceptions gather steam on the ground can be understood by anyone who is not even connected with politics. And then, there was the character called Azam Khan who walks around as if he is the local ruler. This character issued a couple of statements that put the final nail in the coffin of the SP, from which hopefully the party never ever recovers.

Such an unbecoming and unworthy political party and political persons should never ever be seen at work again in our country. In two years, they went from the stratospheric heights straight to the garbage dump.

bharatiya jhootiya party

i cannot believe that there will be people in uttar pradesh who will think of voting for the bharatiya jhootiya party.

in a situation of two-cornered contest like in uttarkhand or rajastan, the people will have no option but to go with the brokers of the bharatiya jhootiya party.

But, when alternatives are available, how can any self-respecting human being go in for this party of inhuman liars?

there will be few pathetic souls who have lost the ability to think, and the brahmins. i dont know how much the brahmin equivalents make up in UP.

Whatever the brahmin equivalent numbers might be, i cant believe that they will get enough votes to win seats.
