egypt

one person committed self immolation in tunisia and has given birth to revolutions in many countries. the western world attempted to export democracy by showering bombs from the skies and throwing in armed forces. the end result is 600,000 deaths in iraq alone..

the ratio is 1:600,000.

god only knows why the west was allowed to wreck civilisation in iraq and afghanistan...

these guys thought they were mandated to go and think on behalf of everyone..all those who innocently believed this in a sense of positive hopefulness, would have realised that the west is one thoroughly selfserving hopeless group, which is the least equipped among the people of the world to provide leadership...leadership can only be provided by sober civilisations that have lived peacefully for millennia..not a three hundred year old young and immature civilisation.

the people of egypt are marching, for what? is hosni mubarak also massively corrupt like the tunisian ruler? or do the people just want a change for the sake of change, in which case they must realise that democratic and political structures are not fashioned at short notice...a party has to be formed with a constitution, and that party has to go to the people...do all the millions who are going to march have the time to commit themselves full time to politics...

Well said as always!
People wanting seeking separate nations/ states (or even change in leadership) for personal power and leadership and using masses through stupid reasoning and without future planning fails to make sense to me!

now everyone in egypt is hoping that things will turn out for the better, instead of just hoping now, the three months till september could have been used to come up with a party, a constitution and a way forward, while also giving a send off to mubarak...actually, mubarak would have been extremely uneasy if he had continued. the end result seems to be the best that mubarak could have got, as he tried to perform his duties of performing the handover. that duty would have been very tiring for him, he would have felt unwanted..now, he can rest in peace. democracy will be born.if leaders are born.the euphoria of today will be directed at today's leader in the future..as euphoria will not give rise to patient working..which is what democracy is all about..
