clash of civilisations

when a foreign force tries to make inroads into native lands, friction can only be expected.if it is a brute army like the mongols, war might not be a choice or the only choice.the europeans were traders who also had their armies to enforce their economic activities.slowly, they managed to infiltrate the politics and gain a larger say.in india, the system was there;the british just took over the reins.in places like somalia, there might not have been a system with the economic activity like over here.there were others who co operated but there surely were some who could not accpt an outsiders influence.this is very easy to understand and there cannot be a comparison with al qaeda as this article tries.
