her life and abrupt illness are bringing focus on the issue of cancer and what causes it.
there should be a link between habits, actions and the disease.
this link has eluded the medical and pharmaceutical establishments of the west.
if tobacco causes cancer,what is preventing the governments of the west from slowly phasing it out or to ration it.
similarly,lessons on risky lifestyles and food and drink habits which cause illness and disease are easier to implement than to forever be searching and stealing somewhere in the quest for the wonder drug.
the west has failed in not being able to rid itself of the comfort seeking attitudes that result in prosperous lifestyles at home and poverty and war in other continents.
