This ancient chinese curse seems to be visiting Pakistan often.The view of the road ahead for pakistan doesnt look promising.
The best way forward would be for benazir ,nawaz sharif and imran khan to accept the situation as depicted by musharraf to be real and pledge all co-operation to him in return for constructive talks towards evolving a new constitution.There should be wide debate and a well drafted document should emerge from it.
The supreme court should be re-instated and the cases concerning musharraf's election should be disposed of keeping in mind the extraordinary situation that prevails.
The democratic forces which were discredited during their reigns should take an initiative and reach out to musharraf.
All the terrorist infrasrtructure should be dismantled,probably with the assistance and guidance of outside forces like the OIC.
