highest point on earth

a group of sherpas have left on an expedition to mount everest.the group includes appa,a sherpa who is aiming to break his own record of having climbed everest 16 times.they have called themselves supersherpas.this was on yahoo.
i remember the nepalese name for everest to be chomolungma,im not exactly sure about the meaning.it is a goddess.imagining the spirit that probably exists on the mountain causes a feeling of wonder.it is one of the toughest adventures but it must be a chance for the soul to lose itself in the beauty of the experience.
i ve myself been to two peaks in south india, about two fifth the height of everest.
the sherpas can be followed at supersherpas.com.
